Usatîi Still Undecided Who to Support in Second Round: I Will Discuss This with Party and Citizens

Renato Usatîi, the third-place candidate in the first round of the presidential election, says he has not yet decided who he will support in the second round, to be held in a fortnight. In a Facebook live broadcast, Usatîi said he would make a decision on the matter after discussing it with Our Party members and citizens, noi.md reports. ‘I will come out with my colleagues in the party and we will announce our final decision on one candidate or the other or both,’ Renato Usatîi said on live TV. According to the results published by the CEC after the processing of all protocols, Maia Sandu and Alexandr Stoianoglo, who got 42.45 per cent and 25.98 per cent of votes respectively in the first round, will go to the second round. The second round will take place in a fortnight, and the exact date will be announced by the Central Electoral Commission.
