The meeting was held on the initiative of Alexandr Stoianoglo.
In a message on the social network, the mayor said that he remained firm regarding the development of Chisinau and Moldova on the path towards European integration, libertv.md reports.
Besides, Ceban made suggestions that should be analyzed further and taken into account, namely:
- Implementation of the republican project for the construction of a bypass road in Chisinau.
- Creation of community police in all localities of Moldova.
- Promotion and approval of the project on car parks in Chisinau and throughout the country.
- Returning to the proposed issue of keeping the taxes of legal entities in the proportion of 50 per cent in the local budget of the municipalities of Chisinau and Balti, ‘because at present, in comparison to other localities, these two municipalities are discriminated’.
‘Similarly, I proposed, as vice-chairman of CALM, the recommendations and call of the mayors, which were also made in the previous parliamentary elections, regarding the recognition and inclusion of the issue of decentralization and local autonomy as the government priority. At the same time, we talked about the control by the state authorities over the mayors of localities and the fabrication of cases of a clearly political nature.
We are also open for talks with presidential candidate Maia Sandu and invite her to the Chisinau City Hall for discussions,’ Ion Ceban concluded.
