The head of parliament, Igor Grosu, evaded answering whether the infrastructure minister would be dismissed from his post.
The reshuffle in the government was announced earlier by Prime Minister Dorin Recean, newtv.md reported.
“At the moment we have no decision on staff changes, but we realize they are necessary.
We made personnel reshuffles before, and we did them not because our colleagues compromised themselves by abusive actions or corruption cases, as Andrei Spinu is unfairly accused of.
All those who make such accusations are asking to prove I don’t know what, but they don’t come with arguments and evidence themselves. There are colleagues who are good in certain situations, in times of overlapping crises. Of course, it is good to have a ministerial profile that can lead to the implementation of strategies, as well as to respond clearly and quickly to one-off challenges. It is necessary to find exactly such people,” Igor Grosu said.
The parliament speaker said that the reshuffle in the government would affect, in particular, the justice sector. Grosu added that Prime Minister Dorin Recean would still head the government.
