Socialist leader Igor Dodon said that amid the deepest crisis due to the fault of the current government, the only way out is the ruling party’s government resignation and early parliamentary elections.
According to him, replacing several ministers cannot satisfy the request of the citizens majority who voted against Maia Sandu regime and her party in the recent elections and the EU accession referendum. Dodon claims that the voting results were distorted by massive fraud at polling stations abroad, actualitati.md reports.
‘The government’s cosmetic overhaul does not meet the people’s expectations. This step only confirms the deep crisis within the ruling party, which suffers from internal conflicts and the promotion of corruption schemes,’ Dodon emphasized.
The Socialist leader also said that the ongoing changes in the government are an attempt to divert attention from the failures and inability to cope with the challenges facing the country. The Socialists continue to insist on the need to change the government through early elections.
