This is the comments of Chisinau Mayor Ion Ceban after Recean’s statements. Ion Ceban spoke out after Prime Minister Dorin Recean’s statements regarding energy resources and that he had demanded the resignation of Energy Minister Victor Parlicov, Energocom CEO Victor Binzari and member of the supervisory board of Moldovagaz Sergiu Tofilat, newtv.md reports. In a Facebook live broadcast, Ion Ceban said that there is a need to resign the entire government and call snap elections. “I also said that their incompetence, unprofessional performance would create a special situation this winter, and it has come true. The fact that they didn’t talk to each other shows the incompetence of the government. This is about the government as a whole, the PAS government. People will have to pay these increased costs, about 17 lei, they will put a heavy burden on economic agents, on public institutions, and they give up on several resignations. The whole government must resign. All those responsible should be investigated and snap parliamentary elections should be announced,” the capital’s mayor specified.
