According to former Moldovan President Igor Dodon, Dorin Recean portrayed a solution to the problem of high gas tariffs.
He is quoted by unimedia.info as saying.
“Dorin Recean has made another fuss to portray a solution to the problem of high gas tariffs, which they themselves created. In September, Recean assured that gas and electricity prices in the country would not be raised this heating season, but last week they were increased by 27%. This government is unable to influence anything and is a hostage of its own policy of confrontation with Russia,” Dodon said.
He emphasized that the authorities should have negotiated over gas purchases.
“They should have gone to Moscow and negotiated at the highest level, but they decided to find scapegoats among themselves once again and think they can go on like this. However, people do not believe them anymore: a full man is no friend to a hungry man.
We see the resignation of the entire government and the organization of early elections as a way out of this situation. Let people say who they trust more. This should be done as soon as possible,” Dodon added.
