Russian Foreign Ministry Demands an Explanation Why Ozerov’s Credentials Have Not Yet Been Accepted

Moldovan Ambassador to Russia Lilian Darii has been summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry. The diplomat received a note verbale in which Moscow demands explanations why Chisinau has not yet accepted the accreditation letters of the Russian ambassador to Moldova Oleg Ozerov, omniapres.md reports. According to Russian diplomacy, the gesture constitutes a violation of the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. The Ambassador of Moldova was also handed the text of the Vienna Convention.
