In the Romanian presidential election, Moldovans with Romanian citizenship cast the largest number of votes for Nicusor Dan - 47,630 ballots.
Crin Antonescu came second with 19,630 votes (21.69%). George Simion came in third with 11,282 votes (12.47%). Elena Lasconi and Victor Ponta received 8,686 (9.6%) and 1,990 votes (2.2%) respectively.
According to the results of voting in Romania and abroad, Nicusor Dan and George Simion made it to the second round of the presidential election.
Recall that the ruling party of Moldova supported Crin Antonescu, the candidate of the Romania Forward Alliance, in these elections.
