Home / Economy / Haulers to Hold Protests Against “Excessive Regulations” Introduced by the Ministry
The Association of Road Transport Operators (APOTA) announces a series of three protests: the first at the Great National Assembly Square, the second in front of the EU Mission building, and the third at the ANTA building.
Transport operators are discouraged with the introduction of excessive regulations by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, which, according to them, threaten the national system of regular road transport, reports deschide.md.
APOTA also demands the withdrawal of the draft aimed at ticket content and ANTA’s requests regarding transport for people with disabilities.
Recall that earlier, the Association of Road Transport Operators (APOTA) sent a letter to Prime Minister Dorin Recean, asking him to intervene to resolve the above issues.
In response, Prime Minister’s press secretary, Daniel Voda, reiterated that dialogue regarding transport operators’ claims must be conducted legally and transparently, through the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development (MIDR).
