Government spokesperson Daniela Crudu provided clarifications regarding the demands of several opposition groups to lift the state of emergency, highlighting the government’s current actions in the energy sector. According to Daniela Crudu, the government has reconnected the Vulcanesti-Isaccea power line in a short period of time. The necessary technical tests are currently being conducted to fully stabilize the electricity system, a process that requires carefulness and time, according to Moldpes. Regarding the duration of the emergency measures, the government spokesperson stated that the state of emergency would be lifted within a reasonable timeframe, once all safety conditions have been confirmed. Crudu emphasized that the government’s priority remains energy security and the protection of citizens, emphasizing that there is no intention to extend the state of emergency unless the situation truly requires it. In accordance with the announcement made in parliament earlier, the government will present a full report on the actions taken during the entire period of the state of emergency.
