The Belarusian cabinet of ministers expects serious personnel changes at the end of this week. Alexander Lukashenko insisted on it at a meeting on the integrated development of Orsha district, during which he demanded “to submit proposals on replacements in the government leadership”, the presidential press service reported. According to the president, the only reason for not fulfilling his tasks is “the government’s blase attitude towards them”. In this regard, he demanded “this week to make proposals to replace the entire government leadership, the entire top personnel, which I have appointed”, Lukashenko set the task – “Stop hanging upon their words, they will tell us how difficult it is for them!” At the meeting he said to immediately “dismiss” Minister of Industry Vitaly Vovk and Minister of Architecture and Construction Anatoly Cherny. Lukashenko announced that Chairman of State Military Industrial Committee Oleg Dvigalev and State Secretary of the Security Council Stanislav Zas were completely inconsistent with the position held. “If they do not re-establish affairs by this autumn, if they do not report on every enterprise, they will be dismissed too. I just warn everyone else who is in charge and others”, the head of state expressed his attitude to the results of the meeting. Lukashenko also criticized Deputy Prime Minister Vasily Zharko for flaws in the development of healthcare industry.  “Why there are corrupted official after corrupted official after corrupted official? You were unsuccessful in doing your job in Gomel, you failed here”, the head of state asked. “Don’t tell me about heroism”. The President set a task publicly. You must solve it – full stop. But you were engaged in sabotage”, Lukashenko characterized the situation. “Appoint a new chairman of the district executive committee today and set a task before him concerning all enterprises. We will try to implement it without the government. We have reserves in the budget and we have banks. Don’t even think of having no progress by November 7”, the president stated firmly. At the meeting the Belarusian leader quoted and commented on some of the results of the work and “achievements” reported by the officials. “The work on employment has been intensified”. Enhanced, increased, reinforced – like in Soviet times, the President attacked the officials with anger. “The program is approved until 2020”. Can you show me at least one tooled up enterprise with machines, equipment, which gave jobs to people to start working in a new way. You cannot. You boast that you removed waste and remains of reinforced concrete and other scrap”, the head of state said with irritation. Source: Rossiyskaya Gazeta
