Poroshenko Initiates EU States Patronage over Cities in Donbas

Ukraine counts on the help of Western countries in the restoration of cities and villages in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, said President Petro Poroshenko during his visit to Avdeevka, where he took part in the opening of gas pipeline. Poroshenko said that the restoration of the Donbas infrastructure is an important strategic task for restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine. He believes that residents of the occupied areas of Donetsk and Lugansk regions should see positive changes in the free territory of Donbass. According to him Ukraine will ask the world community to help. “Let each EU country take responsibility for the restoration of a specific locality in Donetsk and Lugansk regions”.
