Ukraine Plans to Create Azov Naval Base by Year End

Ukraine plans to create a naval base on the Sea of Azov before the end of the year, the Ukrainian government portal reports on its Facebook page. It says about the plans to create a naval base of the Ukrainian Naval Forces on the Sea of Azov by the end of 2018. The statement says that the naval base will create conditions to counter Russian Federation aggression in this region. It was also announced that two armored artillery boats of the Ukrainian Navy were floated off the shores of the town of Berdyansk on September 16.
