The President of Belarus said that he had discussed political interaction and Ukrainian issues with his Russian counterpart. “The talks were mostly held in the one-on-one format. The negotiations lasted for six hours or even longer. Frankly speaking, these talks were not even difficult, but challenging. But they yielded a result”, Lukashenko said. Belarus and Russia agreed to develop a plan for mutual supplies of agricultural products within a week. In addition, presidents in the one-on-one format discussed political issues, in particular, related to Ukraine and the further construction of the Union State. The parties also discussed the possibility of attracting $ 1 billion loan to refinance a portion of payments on the Belarusian external debt. Lukashenko said that Russia did not reject this idea. In Sochi, Russian and Belarusian presidents held talks yesterday, heads and members of the government also took part in it. Source: govoritmoskva.ru
