The United States Promised not to Give the EU to Circumvent U.S. Sanctions against Iran

Advisor to the U.S. President for national security John Bolton stated that the United States will not allow the EU or anyone else to circumvent us sanctions against Iran. At a conference on Iran in New York, Mr Bolton stressed that the United States will be “aggressive and steadfast” in implementation of economic sanctions against Iran and called on the global SWIFT system providing bank payments to review cooperation with Tehran. Earlier it was reported that the European Union would establish a “Special Purpose Vehicle” to allow companies to continue doing business with Iran, bypassing new sanctions imposed by the United States. Britain, France, Germany, Russia, China agreed that Tehran met the “nuclear deal” the United States unilaterally abandoned in 2015. Source: svoboda.org
