Moldova will have a state doctrine. It will be based on the course of the ruling Democratic Party “Pro-Moldova”, said the leader of the formation Vladimir Plakhotnyuk in Chisinau on October 21 at the PDM rally. The leader of the “National Assembly - for Moldova”, Vladimir Plahotniuc, became the headliner of the Democratic Party’s rally.  First, he told the audience about the Democratic Party as the “strongest party” in the republic. “I am looking at these beautiful people who gathered in the Great National Assembly Square and more than ever understand why many people say that the PDM is a strong political party, with an impressive team!”, he said. “Indeed – the main democrat continued – we are a strong party, and not only because we are in power, but because we are united, we have an impressive ability to unite”. He thanked the people who came to the rally from all over the country, noting that the PDM is the only party that has members and supporters in all localities of the country. Plakhotniuk also said that for the last 27 years, there were three directions that were promoted by Moldovan politicians: a course towards European integration, a rapprochement with the Eurasian Union and a unionist movement. “For a long time, Moldova has been waiting for someone from abroad to build its future. We think that now the citizens of Moldova are ready to build the future with their own hands, and for this we need politicians who will ensure stability”, said the leader of the Democratic Party. According to his words, stability and prosperity for all citizens can be provided by the Pro-Moldova DPM course. Plahotniuc clarified that the “Pro-Moldova” path means that the authorities will borrow the best European practices in order to ensure prosperity of people here in Moldova. “We can no longer allow our country to remain an object of geopolitics, as it has been for the last decades, when everyone could tell us what to do, where to go, who to listen to and what to dream about”, he stressed. He noted that the concept of the Pro-Moldova policy will henceforth become a state doctrine, which the republic has not had since independence. Plahotniuc also addressed the people in Russian. He stressed that the Pro-Moldova course also assumed that all citizens of the republic, regardless of nationality, would be respected and appreciated. Source: Newsmaker
