Putin and Erdogan Launched the “Turk Stream”

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Erdogan gave the command to lay the last section of the offshore part of the TurkStream, which means the completion of the gas pipeline construction. “I would like to thank President of the Republic of Turkey Mr Erdogan for displaying political will and courage. It is impossible to implement projects like this in conditions of growing competition without these traits”, said Putin. Russian President also thanked all Turkish colleagues, including the former Minister of Economics who promptly authorised the issuance of the necessary permits and licenses. Source: novayagazeta
