The Council of the European Union has adopted new defense projects in the framework of ongoing cooperation. The Council of the European Union adopted 17 new defense projects in the framework of the Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO). The projects cover areas such as training, capability development and operational readiness on land, at sea and in the air, as well as cyber-defence. Also the Ministers of Defense of the EU member states at a meeting in Brussels adopted the project for the creation of a common intelligence school to train members of the special services of the EU member states.
