Mutual sanctions between Russia and the European Union can be lifted if the dialogue continues in the Normandy format and the Minsk agreements are implemented, said Vice-President of the Bundestag Thomas Oppermann after a meeting with a delegation of the State Duma. According to the politician, a prerequisite for the abolition of restrictions can be a decision that would suit both sides – the protection of the Russian-speaking population in Ukraine and the territorial integrity and inviolability of the borders of the Ukrainian state. Oppermann noted that Russia and Germany have much in common, and the EAEU and the EU should cooperate with each other, reports  TASS.
