Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with the newspaper Trud said that the war in Syria has come to an end.
“The war in Syria has really come to an end. The country is gradually returning to a normal, peaceful life. Some hotspots of tensions remain in the territories that are not controlled by the Syrian government, such as Idlib and the eastern bank of the Euphrates”.
The Foreign Minister called the priority tasks the provision of humanitarian assistance and support to the political process to resolve the Syrian crisis in order to stabilize the situation both in the country and in the whole region.
