Moldovan Officials May Visit Transnistria without Notice

Moldovan deputy premier for reintegration Vasilii Șova at a government meeting on Friday said that Moldovan officials will be able to make private trips to Transnistria from September 16 without written notice. Moldovan Prime Minister Maia Sandu addressed to participants in the 5+2 format with a request to help remove restrictions for Moldovan officials to visit the territory of Transnistria. “As part of the negotiation process on the Transnistrian settlement, it was agreed to cancel written notices for Moldovan officials to visit Transnistria and travel through this region.
