The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and (MFAEI) commented on the speech of President Igor Dodon at the UN General Assembly. “MFAEI insisted and will insist on the complete and unconditional withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Moldova,” the agency’s press release says.
MFAEI emphasizes that Moldova’s neutrality is enshrined in the Constitution and the withdrawal of Russian troops and weapons will be evidence of respect for this status, as well as the territorial integrity of the country.
The MFAEI also called the fact that Dodon did not reiterate the demand for the withdrawal of troops from the UN rostrum as “imbalance in foreign policy”.
