The DTPP Chairman Andrei Nastase addressed his former colleague Maia Sandu with harsh criticism, blaming her for the fall of the government. “The price is high for us to leave the power. I am sure that there is still enough reason in the Republic of Moldova to understand that besides psychosis and hysteria, fueled daily by KGB propagandists and our people, there remains the ability to understand how much we lost after moving away from power, and we won’t allow such mistakes any more,” Andrei Năstase said at a press conference, noi.md reports. Last week, during a broadcast on a private television station, Năstase said that the Sandu government’s decision to take responsibility for the Law on the Prosecutor's Office, which led to the former cabinet’s resignation, was not agreed with external partners of the Republic of Moldova. “I am telling this with all responsibility. Our external partners did not accept the act of taking responsibility as a way to solve the problem. I came to this conclusion from discussions with them, I do not know about others. In conversations with them I saw they are much disappointed,” Andrei Nastase said. Recall, the Sandu government was dismissed on November 12, 2019 as a result of no-confidence vote. 63 MPs from PSRM and PDM voted for resignation of Sandu’s cabinet. Deputies from the Shor party abstained.
