President Igor Dodon called on the Chairman of the PAS Maia Sandu and leader of the Pro-Moldova parliamentary group Andrian Candu to withdraw lawsuits against the government of the Republic of Moldova. According to the head of state, in the situation of an epidemiological crisis, politicians should be in solidarity with citizens and the medical system, cotidianul.md reports. “I want to ask some politicians to withdraw lawsuits against the government. I would like these politicians to show solidarity with all citizens. Let's be united and support the medical system, because when we feel bad, we go to the doctor,” Igor Dodon said during a press conference yesterday. Recall that the Action and Solidarity party appealed to the Appeals Chamber, challenging the decision of the Commission for Emergency Situations, according to which all Moldovans returning to their homeland are required to purchase a medical policy. Soon, a similar statement was made by the leader of the Pro-Moldova parliamentary group, Andrian Candu. In their opinion, this provision is illegal and seriously violates the rights of Moldovan citizens, whom the COVID-19 pandemic found abroad.
