The situation with coronavirus in Russia is complicated, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated. Currently, more than 2.7 thousand infected with COVID-19 are diagnosed in the country, 28 people have died. “In our country the situation is also becoming more complicated. And in the world there is a very difficult situation with coronavirus - already 850 thousand people got infected. According to the latest data, there are 2777 cases of the disease on the territory of the Russian Federation,”, at a meeting with the Cabinet Mr. Putin said. To say that the meeting is being for the first time held in a videoconference mode. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova told the president the highest coronavirus incidence is observed in five regions of the country. “The largest number of cases recorded per 100 thousand people is in the city of Moscow, the Komi Republic, the Republic of Buryatia, in St. Petersburg and the Moscow region,” she informed.  Altogether, according to the head of state press secretary Dmitry Peskov previous announcement introducing emergency in Russia against the backdrop of the pandemic by the Kremlin has not yet been discussed. Note that on the eve, the State Duma and the Federation Council adopted a package of laws on measures to combat COVID-19 – and among other things the amendments give Cabinet of Ministers the right to introduce emergency regime throughout the country. The coronavirus outbreak started in December in Wuhan, China. By March, the infection spread became pandemic. In Russia, the largest number of cases was recorded in the capital, and therefore, on March 30, restrictions on the movement of residents were introduced in Moscow and the Moscow Region. Later, the regime of self-isolation for all citizens was introduced in most of federal subjects.
