At the same time, Angela Merkel noted that the government would strongly recommend wearing masks in public transport and in stores, but she clarified that this is only a recommendation. She also noted that the contact distance should be maintained. The authorities will also monitor the situation and adjust the strategy every two weeks if necessary.
