The DPM-PSRM coalition decided to discuss in parliament the changes repealed by the Constitutional Court and review the application of the tobacco law and production taxes. This decision was made after the law, for which the government took responsibility, was recognized unconstitutional, unimedia.info writes. According to the Council of the governing coalition, it was decided that budget adjustments, a 50% taxation of the charge of 9 euros paid by each passenger at the airport, a reduction in the VAT rate for HoReCa, easier access for domestic producers to duty free shops, should be approved at a parliament meeting. At the same time, it was decided to postpone for a year a draft on tobacco products and an increase in taxes for the mining industry. Recall that on April 13, the Constitutional Court ruled that the law for which the Chicu government claimed responsibility was unconstitutional. According to the Constitutional Court, this decision is final, not subject to appeal, takes effect from the date of its adoption and is published in Monitorul Oficial. The Constitutional Court motivated its decision by the fact that constitutional procedures had been violated.
