The PDM Honorary Chairman denies there are disagreements in the party formation’s leader position. According to Diacov, PDM has become the target of a “machine” that wants to destroy the party, while “those who formed party lists in the elections”, including former Democrat leader Vladimir Plahotniuc, are behind advisers and deputies fact of leaving  unimedia.info reported. At the same time, the parliamentarian believes that if Candu group joins the ruling coalition, then Plahotniuc’s return to the country “can be considered a settled issue”. This stated the politician on the air of «Fourth Power» TV Show on Channel N4. “The whole machine is involved in destroying PDM. Sometimes they succeed because   those who have contributed to the formation of lists of deputies “take care of” and it’s very easy for them to talk to people. They have their own arguments to convince them. The same traditional methods are used, such as financial persuasion. Roumors has it, although I have never witnessed such situations,” Diacov said, commenting on the withdrawal of some deputies and local elected officials from the PDM. At the same time, the Honorary President of the PDM believes that the former Democrat leader Vladimir Plahotniuc, who is wanted on several charges and is located in the United States, is behind these actions. “I suppose that without him this political activity would not have been conducted. He hopes to return to Moldova someday. I do not think that Andrian Candu decided on his own initiative to create a party. Candu wanted to leave, but for some reason remained,” Diacov said. “Representatives of Pro-Moldova and the Shore party are in very close cooperation and I assume that they have the same bookkeeping,” the deputy said. When asked about how Plahotniuc’s return to the Republic of Moldova is possible, Diacov hinted that if Candu group becomes part of the ruling coalition, then the “issue is resolved”. “Vladimir Plahotniuc is a former politician from the Republic of Moldova. He has a certain experience, understanding of events, will and character. Now he is engaged in politics with much more enthusiasm and motivation than when he led the party. But this is only an assumption. May Plahotniuc be healthy, everything else will be decided. Our voters are not very pretentious, they forget to ask questions and this solves the situation,” Diacov added.
