Deputy Oleg Sirbu, who left the Democratic Party faction four days ago, announced on May 12 that he joins the Pro Moldova group. He wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“In Pro Moldova I am among colleagues who are close to me. I want my country, city, region and people to grow, not degrade. I want to keep the European course, I want ambitious economic projects to be implemented, lives of citizens to be improved, agricultural development to be supported, the business climate to be improved, investments in education and medicine to be increased. Therefore, I stand for unity and prosperity, collegiality, and not for unilateral decisions based on personal ambitions,” Sirbu wrote.
Oleg Sirbu left the PDM faction and the formation itself on May 8, together with deputies Vladimir Vitiuc, Violeta Ivanov and Elena Bacalu. After that, Vitiuc and Ivanov announced that they were joining the Shor Party and the anti-government bloc, which the Pro Moldova parliamentary group urged to create.
There are 17 deputies in the PDM faction.
