The Honorary Chairman of the Democratic Party (PDM), Dumitru Diacov, claims that the party’s ex-vice chairman, Sergiu Iaralov, helped MP Ilan Shor flee the country. In addition, as Diacov said on May 14 in the”In Profunzime” on Pro TV, Iaralov is still dealing with Shor party interests. “Not PDM, but several people who were associated with PDM helped Shore stay at large and settle scores from abroad. One of the authors and conductors of this was the famous guy named Iaralov. And I suppose that Sergiu is still developing this party,” Diacov said. “This is a funded campaign against the Democratic Party. It’s very sad that our former colleagues are doing this,” Diacov said. Diacov called political bribery the basic principle of new changes in politics. “I do not understand how our European partners calmly look at what happens if the government dissolves due to the deputies’ bribery,” Diacov noted. As to the former PDM head, Vladimir Plahotniuc, Diacov suggested that he was interested the way the new group was advancing.
