Pro Moldova leader Andrian Candu commented on the PAS decision to convene the National Political Council on July 18 to discuss the possibility of signing a vote of no confidence in the Cabinet of Ministers led by Ion Chicu.

According to the politician, “split opposition benefits one person - Igor Dodon”, deschide.md reports.

“We don’t want to give advice to anyone, but when the opposition parties cannot agree on such a simple and important issue as a vote of no confidence, people start asking questions and lose hope. In the end, they ask themselves whether the opposition really wants to send Dodon’s adviser, who leads the government, home, or is it all a political game in which the country’s interests are less important than considerations related to the upcoming elections. Dodon can be defeated, now and in the autumn elections, if the opposition is united and determined,” Candu said.

Recall that the PAS Politburo decided to convene the National Political Council on Saturday, July 18, to decide whether the party would sign a motion of no confidence in the Chicu government proposed by the DA Platform.

DA Platform MPs signed this document today.
