PAS leader Maia Sandu and PDM leader Pavel Filip held a meeting to discuss the political situation in the country. The leaders of the two parties discussed how the country is governed and how to improve the situation during the pandemic crisis and political instability, unimedia.info reports. Pavel Filip emphasized that the PDM believes that opposition parties can become a constructive pressure factor on the government. “The topic raised by PAS leader Maia Sandu was related to the vote of no confidence proposed by the DA Platform and how the Democrats will act in this case. The PDM leader said that the change cannot be implemented with the help of corrupt deputies and defectors, who moved to the Candu and Shor groups for money. Moreover, both the PAS and the DA Platform committed themselves not to vote in parliament for a government with corrupt deputies and condemned political tourism,” the PDM press release said. Pavel Filip specified that PDM is open for dialogue only with PAS, DA Platform and PSRM, in any political format that can improve the lives of citizens.
