The Democratic Party did not nominate a candidate for the presidential elections but launched the “Other Politics” campaign where the PDM leadership negotiates with its members and supporters. According to the PDM leader, Moldovans are currently more worried about what will happen after the presidential elections than about promises candidates registered in the electoral race made, ziarulnational.md reported. Filip noted that the citizens of Moldova no longer believe the promises made during the election campaigns but are waiting for real solutions to the existing problems. “What I hear from people in districts is not the elections themselves. They are important for candidates whilst people are more concerned with what will happen after elections. We hear many statements, many promises but people are realistic and understand that promises alone do not solve problems in the country. We see that people are mostly worried about what will happen in November. They want stability so that politicians get united around the one who solves people's problems,” Pavel Filip said.
