The demand of holding new presidential elections in Belarus is one of the main demands of the opposition and the West
Holding new presidential elections in Belarus is possible if it is supported by the majority of citizens. This was stated by the Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko at the opening of the third metro line in Minsk, the Liga newspaper reported.
“Well, on the spite of the day. Some demand new elections from us. I guarantee you new elections when you make a decision. I guarantee,” Lukashenko said.
Recall, earlier the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that he did not intend to leave the country in case of a change of power.
As previously reported, the European Union imposed personal sanctions against Alexander Lukashenko, his son Viktor and 13 Belarusian officials.
