PDM chairman Pavel Filip said that his party would not support the draft laws on the budget, and recommended that the socialists withdraw the project aimed at withdrawing the ISS from president’s subordination.
Filip described this initiative as “a brutal attack on the country’s sovereignty,” zdg.md reported.
“After the presidential elections, the situation is not calming down, but heating up instead,” stated Filip.
The democrat declared the party would side with the president-elect and warned the socialists not to step “on the same rake that others have stepped on when attempting to stay in power.”
“PDM demonstrates solidarity with citizens who do not tolerate abuse and want a different policy – fair and transparent one. In this context, PDM will support the President-elect’s efforts to counter the situation destabilization in the country and the tricks of some political figures. Socialist colleagues, do not repeat the mistakes of others. Learn to accept failure. Everything is still fresh in their memory. Do not try to step on the rake, as others did, when attempting to stay in power at any cost,” Pavel Filip added.
