Andrei Nastase asked President Maia Sandu to dismiss all consultants who advised her to appeal to the Constitutional Court.

At the same time, the DA platform leader noted that they are not considering the possibility of initiating the impeachment procedure of the president, cotidianul.md reports.

When asked whether the DA platform would initiate impeachment, Năstase replied that “unfortunately the faction of the party he leads has too few deputies in parliament.”

“Even if there were votes, we would not initiate impeachment at the moment and, most likely, would not vote for it. I am firmly convinced that Maia Sandu should dismiss all the advisers who advised her to apply to the Constitutional Court,” Năstase said.

According to Nastase, these advisers had put Maia Sandu in an awkward spot.
