Earlier there were reports of blood clots in vaccinated Major countries in Europe, including Germany and France, have suspended use of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine amid growing safety concerns. Countries on the continent have stopped distribution of the vaccine after reports of blood clots in vaccinated people, despite the EU's drug regulator reiterating its support for the drug. Italy and Spain have also suspended the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine. These announcements were preceded by urgent talks between the health authorities of these countries, as well as Germany and France.
