The parliamentary majority, formed by the PSRM, the Shor party and the Pentru Moldova platform, declared that they were against parliament dissolution and reaffirmed their support for the candidate for prime minister Vladimir Golovatiuc. At the plenary session, the leader of the PSRM faction Corneliu Furculita read out a new statement by the parliamentary majority, consisting of 53 deputies,  jurnal.md reported. “We declare our disagreement with the dissolution of parliament and express our readiness for consultations to overcome the constitutional deadlock,” Furculita said. “If the majority candidate is unable to maintain this status, in case of withdrawal of the candidacy or other force majeure circumstances, the parliamentary majority will determine another candidate for the post of prime minister. We invite politicians to a constructive dialogue in order to approve decisions that will have constitutional support,” Furculita added. After these statements, the PSRM, the Shor party and the Pentru Moldova platform announced that they were leaving the parliamentary session. Due to lack of quorum, it was postponed until tomorrow.
