The EU Ambassador to Chisinau announced the urgent need to dissolve the current parliament. Peter Michalko noted that a new Legislature is needed, which would vote for a government capable of fighting corruption. “We need a new parliament, which will be reliable and will be able to support a government capable of making changes, reforms that are needed and awaited by citizens - fighting corruption, reforming justice, creating conditions for investment,” the diplomat said,  tvrmoldova.md quoted. The ambassador's statements were made last Thursday, a day before the parliamentary majority overturned the decree appointing Domnica Manole as a judge of the Constitutional Court. Peter Michalko stressed that citizens suffer due to the political chaos in Chisinau. “One cannot but see the situations of last year, when 800 million lei were lost, 400 of which were not subject to return. These were grants to the budget and they were never received,” Michalko added.
