Former Prime Minister Vlad Filat said that his resignation from the PLDM leadership is conditional and this decision was made for several reasons. “This is a deliberate decision. I do not belong to the category of those who leave the post with their feet forward and I can make a decision to leave, including taking a step back when the situation requires it. To be more precise, there are also personal reasons but this decision is based on the political situation that has developed at the country level and, in particular, in relation to me. I did not want to be an electoral subject in these elections, as well as in the presidential ones. I didn’t want some politicians to use my name,” Vlad Filat said on the air of the program on TV channel N4,  tv8.md reported. He also explained that he could not participate in early parliamentary elections on July 11 due to the Supreme Court of Justice’s decision on the case he is involved in. Recall, at the end of April this year, Vlad Filat announced resigning from the post of the PLDM chairman. This position is temporarily held by the Vice-Chairman of the PLDM, Mayor of the city of Leova Alexandru Bujoreanu.
