Parliament voted in the last reading for amendments to the Law on the State Budget for 2021. The document was adopted urgently due to the need to allocate funds to pay current payments to Gazprom for gas supplied to Moldova in the period from October to November, deschide.md reports. Recall that Gazprom recently notified the Chisinau authorities about the termination of the supply of natural gas if it does not receive the payment due on November 22 for the supplied gas within 48 hours. Subsequently, Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spinu said that the money previously allocated by the Emergency Situations Commission to Energocom would be used to repay debts to Gazprom. This is about 1.4 billion lei. As a result, the Republic of Moldova appealed to Gazprom not to stop the supply of natural gas, promising to pay for the volume consumed in the period from October to November until November 26. Representatives of the Russian concern said they agreed with the request. Point
