Members of the National Political Council of DA (Dignity and Truth) Platform organized a meeting to discuss the socio-political situation in the country.
As a result, the National Council of the party came to the conclusion that “the actions of the present government is much below the expectations of citizens and deviate significantly from the pre-election promises, especially in the areas of justice, energy systems, fair regulation of prices and incomes of the population, the fight against monopolies, the support of local producers, ensuring press freedom, decentralization, environmental protection, etc” reports unimedia.info
“In particular, it highlighted the lack of transparency and poor communication on the part of state institutions,” reads the press release of the DA Platform.
“In such circumstances, the National Political Council of the DA Platform considers it necessary to unite, including in the context of electoral prospects, all extra-parliamentary, genuinely democratic, competent civil and political forces with experience and sound vision in managing and strengthening state institutions, supporters of national and European integration of the Republic of Moldova, European development and modernization of the country for the benefit of all its citizens.
To achieve this vital goal, the National Political Council of the DA Platform has given the party founding chairman, Mr. Andrei Nastase, a full mandate to negotiate with other political parties in the country and abroad," the press release says.
At the same meeting, the acting chairman of the DA Platform, Dinu Plingau, announced that he would run for party leader at the next congress. He received the support of his colleagues from the Permanent Bureau and the National Political Council, as well as the support of the founding Chairman of the DA Platform, Andrei Nastase.
