“President Putin is preparing for a long war. He has already mobilized more than 200,000 people who are now being trained, has increased military production, and is seeking weapons from other authoritarian regimes, including Iran. But most importantly, we have no indication that his plans have changed!” said NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoana.
“Eighteen people, including three members of Ukraine’s government and several children, were killed in a helicopter crash in Brovary, Kyiv region. Many others were injured. Even if the causes of the incident are unknown, it is very clear that this war brings a lot of destruction and a lot of pain. The war could end today if President Putin decides to stop!” said Admiral Rob Bauer, head of the NATO Military Committee.
