The bloc of Communists and Socialists (BoCS) intends to boycott the consultations with the parliamentary factions announced Friday by the head of state, Maia Sandu. The MPs declared that they had been notified that they had to come to the President’s Office 40 minutes before the consultations, which does not comply with the legal norms, rupor.md reports. Vlad Batrincea said that the BoCS was in favor of early elections and that they would not participate in the appointment of a new government of the PAS Party. “This government will go down in history as a failed, crisis government marked by a lack of dialogue, work in all areas... They have support from outside, but they have no support from the people... The PSRM cannot participate in appointing a new government, it is all useless... Consultations with the parliamentary factions will follow. We received the invitation 40 minutes before the consultations, this is a mockery of Parliament and the people. We do not have the legal and moral right to attend these consultations. It is all an imitation. We stand for early elections,” Batrincea said.
