Moldovan President Maia Sandu paid a visit to Kyiv on the Euromaidan anniversary. Together with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife Olena, they honored the memory of those killed in the 2013 events. “Volodymyr and Olena Zelensky together with Maia Sandu placed lamps to the cross on the Alley of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred in Kyiv,” the Ukrainian presidential website says. Besides, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius and the head of the European Council, Charles Michel, arrived in Kyiv today. The previous day, Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin visited the country. Maia Sandu last visit to Ukraine took place on 31 March 2023. At that time, she visited the city of Bucha together with Volodymyr Zelensky and the presidents of Slovenia, Slovakia and Croatia.
