Moldovan entrepreneurs will have an increased access to European funds. On Friday Parliament ratified the Agreements between Moldova and the European Union on Moldova’s participation in the Single Market Programme.
This will ensure a coherent financing structure in order to support the key objectives - food safety, consumer protection and support for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The programme involves the development and dissemination of high-quality European statistics. EU policies will be assessable; citizens, authorities, businesses and decision makers will be able to participate in the democratic process and make informed decisions.
Moldova will have access to financial instruments, experience and best practices of other beneficiary countries of the Programme. The total Programme budget is 4.2 billion euros for the period 2021-2027.
The agreement with the EU on Moldova’s participation in the Single Market Programme was signed on 8 September 2023.
