The National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) authorized Gagauz agrarians to export to Russian markets. We had already received the relevant documents, the head of the Gagauz agro-industrial complex department, Serghei Ibrişim said. He noted that all agro-leaders from Gagauzia, who grew fruit and table grape varieties, had received the authorization from ANSA. ‘Now farmers can freely export products to the Russian Federation according to the letter concluded by Evghenia Guţul. Previously, Rosselkhoznadzor prohibited exports. Now we have received all the authorization documents. Namely for apricots, wild cherries, cherries, apples,’ Serghei Ibrişim said. The head of Gagauzia’s agro-industrial complex department also added that the permission to export to the Russian Federation from the Gagauz autonomy had been obtained for table grapes.
