“EU Ambassadors” to Appear in Moldovan Schools at the Initiative of the President’s Office

The Ministry of Education informs that the EU Ambassadors initiative, organized at the suggestion of the Office of President Maia Sandu, is being implemented in general education institutions in the 2024-2025 school year. In this regard, the Ministry of Education asks school principals to organize appropriate activities and ensure the participation of students and teachers, reports unimedia.info. ‘‘EU Ambassadors is a nonpolitical initiative to support and promote the European vector among students in Moldovan general education institutions,” reads the order of the Ministry of Education, signed by Dan Perciun. “In this context, the Ministry of Education and Science asks the heads of educational institutions, local specialized bodies in the field of education to take responsibility for organizing information activities within the EU Ambassadors initiative during the 2024-2025 school year and to ensure the participation of pupils and teaching staff according to a predetermined schedule,” the document sent to general educational institutions also says.
