Chicu: We Demand the Cancellation of the Results of the 20 October Presidential Election

In this regard, PDCM filed a request to the Chisinau Court of Appeal to annul the CEC decision on the election results of 20 October and to organize a second round of voting,” Ion Chicu said. The former prime minister justified his decision by the fact that both during the election campaign and on the day of the presidential election his team had recorded a number of violations that the CEC had not taken into account. Chicu was also outraged that the CEC did not take into account the statements of PAS candidate Maia Sandu, according to which more than 300 thousand votes had been falsified. “I believe this election was rigged,” Chicu concluded.
