The Minister of Defense told journalists about 100 units of equipment provided by the Lithuanian authorities and noted that they will be used in surveillance missions conducted by the National Army.
The Minister of Defense thanked officials from Vilnius for the batch of military aid, reports realitatea.md.
At the same time, the minister noted that the drones will strengthen the capabilities of the Moldovan military but did not mention how many such devices are currently in the army’s stockpiles.
“We have enough, but there will be even more. As many as needed for citizens to feel safe,” Nosatii said.
Last week, the Prime Minister of Lithuania visited the Republic of Moldova. After the visit, the official announced on social media that 100 drones had been donated to our country.
